Michael Oshry —

Oshry’s family moved to Edmonton, Canada from South Africa when he was a child. He has called the City home since them.  As a leader in building and development for 20 years, he understands business both large and small.

He left the business community to become a City Councillor, representing Ward 5 from 2013 to 2017.

Kim Krushell —

Former Edmonton city councillor Kim Krushell announced her decision to run for mayor on Jan. 27 in front of Edmonton City Hall. 

Krushell was a councillor for Ward 2 for three consecutive terms before stepping down in 2013 to spend more time with her family.

Amarjeet Sohi —

Amarjeet Sohi is an Indo-Canadian politician who served as Minister of Natural Resources from 2018 to 2019 and Minister of Infrastructure and Communities from 2015 to 2018. Sohi sat as the member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Edmonton Mill Woods in the House of Commons from his 2015 election until his defeat in the 2019 election.

Sohi previously sat as a member of the Edmonton City Council representing Ward 12, gaining his seat in the 2007 Edmonton municipal election.
